Believe it or not the Lord's sweet presence becomes fleeting when my "creativity" goes before my intimacy.
When the Lord wants to draw, there is this agreement within me, but when He desires to be with my kids, talk to my wife, call and reach out toward others, or even wash the dishes...and I don't agree; I do what I want to do...I lose my peace.
That is a wonderful question because I'm learning to slow down and listen/discern my Friend.
My drawings are garbage without Him anyway.
I reach out when He wants to and I isolate myself when He wants to.

Christ said to "Learn of Me"
So my days are based upon listening and agreeing or the lack thereof.

I agree, Mel!

It makes you want to be around the artist and what she does rather than leave her to her creative corner.

Since a lot of being active in our art calls for time away to ourselves, do you or others find it a challenge remembering to reachout to others?

Charlene seems to have done it very well!

The art, the atmosphere, the people, the artist, her family, the video, and her faith have one thing in common...full of life.
I loved it.
Thank you for sharing.
