Easter Art Trinity

The following 3 paintings can almost walk you through the true meaning of “Resurrection Day” or “Easter”:

CHRIST’S DEATH AND SACRIFICE

Christ at Gethsemane

Christ at Gethsemane

“Christ At Gethsemane”
The first work I did where I prayed prior to actually putting paint to paper. I always wanted to create a portrait of Christ, but wanted it to be less of my vision and something inspired more by the Holy Spirit.

Meaning behind the Work: This portrait of Christ was done in a manner where His physical attributes were downplayed, allowing His spiritual purpose to be center stage.

 CHRIST’S ROLE AS SAVIOR

“Savior”
My digital painting called “Savior” was created when I asked myself “How can you illustrate the concept of what Jesus actually did for us?”

Meaning behind the Work: See the interactive version of this poster to see the secret meanings behind the icons in the image.

CHRIST SENDS THE COMFORTER

Endure

“Endure”
This digital painting actually ministered to me during the a challenging time in my life.

Meaning behind the Work: This painting tells the message that although hard times will come (and they will come), the Holy Spirit is there to support and sustain the Believer.
