The bible teaches us that connecting with people can often be more helpful than working alone. This is especially true for artists and designers.
My purpose for posting this latest video is to allow you to see and witness a first-hand example of individual artists accomplishing more as a part of a group than what they could on their own.
- “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
- “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor”. For if they fall one will lift up his companion, but woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up . . .though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him and a threefold cord is not easily broken. ” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
EXAMPLE:
The Brotherhood of Comic Artistsis a grass roots gathering of visual artists that originated on Facebook, who not only encourage eachother to keep their skills sharp, but now are working together to publish the comics of some of their members. Many of these comic ideas have been in the minds and on the drawing boards of their individual creators for years. Now through the power of a collective group, those ideas will finally become real and can be enjoyed by the public.

Tony, are you apart of this “brotherhood?”
And if so, where’s your artwork?
Yep, I’m a member, too!
I don’t get to join in every challenge each week that Mel gives us due to my schedule, but here’s some of my work from the challenges that I have been able to participate in:
