Did God Give You the Desire to Teach?

One of the things I’ve seen many artist succeed in is teaching their craft.

Many of you struggle now with the concept of turning your gift into a viable business because you are focusing on only one facet of the business: selling your art, crafts or designs to one consumer.
…But what if that’s only PART of how God wants you to use your gift?

In Exodus, we see where God not only equipped His chosen artisans to create, but He placed the desire to teach within them as well:

“And Moses said to the children of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of artistic workmanship.”

And He has put in his heart the ability to teach, in him and Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. ” Exodus 35:30-35

Ever considered teaching a workshop or a class?

It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Often it’s as simple as allowing a group to witness your own personal creative style. A small group watching YOUR creative process.

And it can be as “fancy” as recording that process on video, making it available online for the world to see.

Teaching could be a very productive additional “product line” to your existing creative business strategy.
